COMMUNITY GARDEN
Cornhill Community Centre are delighted to announce that we have received permission and funding to transform part of the large grassy area immediately west of Cornhill Primary School into a community garden.
This will be a long-term project lead by Cornhill Community Centre that will allow community residents to shape the space to suit their wants and needs.
To kick-start the community garden, we will be installing seating areas (benches and picnic tables) to the area. We would like to thank the Health Improvement team at NHS Grampian and ACVO for believing in our initiative and for awarding us the funding to be able to kickstart our garden.
This project aims to provide the residents of our local area with a space to connect with nature and to enjoy the benefits of the outdoors. We believe this project will help to support and encourage the residents of Cornhill to live well, grow, and flourish.
If you would like to be involved in the set-up of the community garden please email cornhillcommunitycentre@gmail.com
